Its dedicated to papers on quantitative social science research and methods. The journal's featured articles illustrate the use of quantitative methods to empirically test social science theories. The journal focuses on research that involves issues or methods in interdisciplinary subject areas. Particular attention is given to methods that are used by only one particular social science discipline, but which may be applied to a broader field with the ultimate goal of testing social science theories.
